I think you're right about the similarity between english and chinese ancient language when it comes to verses or poems. I sometimes feel modern chinese is less powerful in expression, less neat and tend to be prolix 2 V0 h9 s& }6 g4 G `' r9 g5 m4 j* T# K$ H; u+ g- l
and I like the idea of yours that we communicate more here ( @" D; ^- ]- `
just that this corner does not seem to attract many visitors.
